Can you offer us cheaper calls than BT?

Yes. Our calls can work out up to 20% cheaper.

Will you deal with BT if we need to order lines?

Yes. (We don't like the experience any more than you do! But we have been giving this service on behalf of our customers for over 20 years).

On-Site Maintenance or Warranty,
what's the difference?

A warranty allows you the Buyer to return, at your own expense, faulty equipment back to the Seller (Dealer).

The Seller sends these goods to the manufacturer (in this case NEC-Philips). If the goods are faulty they are repaired and sent back to you.

This procedure can take days.

On-site maintenance is where, in the event of any fault on your NEC-Philips phone system, you call us and we send an engineer to your address to fix it. You do not pay for this service, it is included in the price.

It means less down time and headaches for you and your business.

Not all Sellers offer On-site Maintenance AND Warranty cover included in the price.

We provide both services to ensure that in the event that you do suffer system failure, the disruption to your business is minimised. Be careful that you are not left in the lurch when you most need help!

No problem. We can provide this same system with up to 40 BT lines and 72 extension users. Ask us for a quotation.

I use BT Featureline. Do I need this system?

Well that depends. Each Featureline rental may cost £56.50 whilst Business line is £41.15 per quarter.

If you have two or three lines then work out the savings for yourself.

Featureline is difficult to use, particularly when holding and transferring calls. The way your phones ring on incoming calls is inflexible.

We have supplied this system to many companies who have previously used Featureline and they are very happy with their change.

Can I have music or messages on hold?

Yes. You can record your own message up to 16 seconds long and play it back to callers whilst they are on hold.

Can I connect Broadband to this system?

We can connect the phone line part of the Broadband but not the PC part. This will not give you VOIP or free calls over the internet. It will allow you to use the telephone number attached to your Broadband to make, answer, hold and transfer calls to other users on the system.

I already make free internet calls (VOIP) between my branch offices using a phone supplied via my switch/router.
Can I integrate this with the NEC-Philips system?

Yes. This will allow you to make free calls, answer, hold and transfer to other users on the NEC-Philips system.

Can you provide monitoring software (like a Call Centre) that allows me to see how may calls are being made?

And what numbers they are dialling? Can I turn this information into easily readable reports?
Yes, yes & yes! All FREE of charge for the 1st year, then only £150 per annum thereafter (for up to 24 users).

Is it possible to record my conversations and save them to replay later?

Yes, as long as you purchase the optional voicemail card. This also allows voicemail for all users.

My mobile phone allows me to enter the first three letters of somebodys' name then it shows their phone number for me to call - can I have this?

Yes. There is a database of 900 numbers which are accessed by any user (with a system phone) in this fashion.

Can I use my existing phones on this system?

Possibly, but check with us first. If you want to hold and transfer calls between users an "R" (Recall) button is required on the phone. At least one phone must be an NEC-Philips display phone which is used for system programming.

We suggest using all display phones as this will give you a complete NEC-Philips specification - allowing you to easily access and use all the features.

If you have DECT digital cordless phones these can also be used.

Is my existing cabling re-usable on this system?

If you have a working system already and want to upgrade it the chances are you CAN re-use the cabling (subject to survey) and SAVE money.

Can I have voicemail on this system?

Yes, it is an optional extra.

For £350 we supply a card especially designed for use within this system. It allows every user access to voicemail. Just think - you'll never have to take paper messages on behalf of a colleague again!

In addition there is voicemail which answers your main number when the office is closed.

I have heard a system where callers can "Press 1 for Sales", "Press 2 for Accounts", "Press 3 for Admin" etc.? Can I have something similar?

Yes. This is part of the optional voicemail package costing £350.
